East coast Beach, Singapore

This wasn't recent. It was actually taken in July 2009, quite some time ago, at the east coast beach of Singapore.

It wasn't a sunny day, but fortunately I manage to get this one, the approaching wave, which almost wet my camera. Although I didn't have any bright blue sky the weather was quite clear and bright. I think this image is quite good as it shows a very clear and clean sandy beach as well as the foamy wave rolling down from the shore.

To avoid the dirt near the beach and people I walk further up as far as I can to get a beautiful, clean and clear spot. I made it.

Sunset at MacRitchie Reservoir Park

Mac-Ritchie Reservoir Park

Mac-Ritchie Reservoir Park is especially for landscape photographer who likes to shoot sunset photography. It gives several perfect scenic views of man made forest and river side scene.

It is not only the beautiful spot for photographers but also for nature lovers, family and friends gathering, kayaking and picnic especially on weekends. You will find it as if you are in deep jungle and feel like you are no longer in Singapore when you further move deep into the forest. You will no longer hear and sense the busy city of Singapore. Strongly recommend to visit there at least twice a year if you are not happen to travel around the region. A good and suitable place to release all your stress. And do not forget to bring your camera.

It is located at North of Singapore and the nearest public transport is at Ang Mo Kio bus station or Marymount train station.

East Coast Park or Bedok Jetty, Singapore

Bedok Jetty is the longest fishing jetty in Singapore, and probably the most popular one as well located at East Coast Park, Area F. That means if you're getting there by car, you should park at car park F1. Public bus service 401 that goes in to East Coast Park on weekends and public holidays only. The jetty was used to be a pier for military use and was later converted to a jetty for public. I always wanted to try sunset photo there but I do not have chance yet.

Sentosa Beach Sunset, Singapore

Sunset at Siloso beach, Sentosa island, Singapore.

Blog this image, (images of images) would probably be the last until the end of the calendar 2010.

Please search for me photovigor.blogspot.com, search with google to reach me for more images especially on landscape photography.

This is another Singapore landscape photography taken at Sentosa island. The coastline is marked by three lovely man-made beaches – Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. It is relatively save to swim around or involve any of water activities such as beach volleyball, beach soccer, cycling, rollerblading and kayaking.

Sentosa island is not only the hot spot for landscape photographers in Singapore but also favorite location for wedding couples and one of the most photographed sites. Search for website, there are many beautiful pictures taken around Singapore.

How to get the Sentosa island? It's easy.. The simplest way is by taking train of North-East line and alight at Habour Front Station. From there just straight up to 3rd level of ViVo City shopping mall, transfer to mono-rail, which is Sin$3 for return trip.

On the way to the beach, the mono rail will bring you to the very first station, Water Front Station, where you can take wonderful photos at Universal Studio. The next is Ambiah Station where the Merlion (Singapore logo) is there. And the last stop is Beach Station, where the beautiful Sentosa is awaiting visitors. You can alight and board again and again the mono rail from station to station without any additional fees.

The tram ride is free at the point of writing this post and it run for two directions, one is to Siloso beach and the other route is to the Tanjong beach. After alighting from mono rail, the tram at the right is to Siloso and to the left is to Tanjong beach.

Sunset at Langkawi Beach Resort

Langkawi beach resort, at about 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. One of the attractive sites for photographers especially who love sunset and landscape photography. It is a duty-free island (I love this).

Popular beaches are Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah, Burau Bay, Pantai Kok, and Datai Bay. Pantai Cenang is my favorite beach and strongly recommend for landscape photographers. It is also great for seascape and sunset photography as well. It is a beautiful beach with seemingly unending stretches of fine white sand. Along the beach with the tall coconuts and casuarinas added the fantastic landscape. Pantai Kok is a peaceful and quiet beach with the backdrop of limestone hills.

How to go to Langkawi..

Tourists can reach the island via ferry from Kuala Perlis or by flight from Kuala Lumpur or even from Singapore there is a direct flight(Malaysia Airlines). Air Asia provides budget connections to the island.

The Langkawi International Airport is one of the 7 international airports in Malaysia and connects the island to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Penang, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Phuket and also Subang. On the island, there is only one main road runs through the whole island, so you won't be lost. Rental cars and taxis are available in Langkawi with a very reasonable price. Taxis do not run on meter, but instead drivers charge a flat rate which is quite "standardized" from point to point. It would be better ask the taxi fare before you board.

Australia holiday_Gold coast

The Gold Coast is a city situated in the southeast corner of Queensland, to the south of Brisbane, Australia. Only 78 km (48 mi) from Brisbane and it take nearly 2 hours train ride form Brisbane Central Train Station, to Nerang, a small township. From Nerang to Gold coast is 45 minutes bus ride and the train ticket include the bus ride. Tourism is the biggest industry in the region, directly contributing more than $4.4 billion into the city economy every year and directly accounting for one in four jobs in the city.

Waterfront canal living is a feature of the Gold Coast, and most canal frontage homes have pontoons.Residential canals were first built on the Gold Coast in 1950s and construction continues.Recently constructed canals include Harbour Quays and River-links completed in 2007. There is over 890 km of constructed residential waterfront land within the city that is home to over 80,000 residents, which is a very big number.

Gold coast town area in the afternoon. Most of the tallest residential high rises are seen only at Gold coast in the world.

Australia holiday_Melbourne

On the way to The Twelve Apostles, which are located along the spectacular Great Ocean Road. The Twelve Apostles are giant rock that rise majestically from the Southern Ocean and are the central feature of the rugged Port Campbell National Park.

The images taken are under very cloudy environment and the worst was it is drizzling every now and then. Sunrise and sunset offer some great views as the Twelve Apostles change several colours from dark in shadow to brilliant sandy yellow under a full sun.

But, unfortunately it was a cloudy day. :(

Sentosa Beach of Singapore

Sentosa beach is one of the tourist attractions in Singapore. It is famous for its gentle sea breeze, which provide a pleasant environment and its sunset which attract most of the amateur photographers. Probably having the largest shore among beaches in Singapore where visitors can play and enjoy the atmosphere.

No other place is better to take sunset photography in Singapore than Sentosa Beach.

Singapore Changi Beach

Hello everyone, thank you again for visiting my photography blog.

Again, here is another beach photo, taken at the east of Singapore. To be exact, it is situated at the northeastern tip of Singapore and very close to Singapore international airport. The beach is approximately 3.3 km long with stretches of sandy beaches between Changi Point and Changi Ferry Road.

It is a popular hangout for overnight family picnics, especially on weekends. One could enjoy fishing, watching landing airplanes, jogging and watching the sunrise or sunset. Sunrises can be viewed from the SAF Changi Ferry Terminal on the eastern end of the park while sunsets from Changi Point. Others may enjoy barbecuing, camping and watersports.

Probably this is one of the most beautiful places in Singapore for taking landscape, seascape and nature photography. Especially those who loves taking sunset or sunrise photos.

Punggol beach Singapore

I am really passionate about nature photography and love to view some great photos of other photographers'. This particular image is from one of my beach front stock photography. Taken at Punggol beach, east of Singapore. You can get there by taking bus number 82 from Compassvale LRT(train station).

To be frank, the riverside is not much interesting for Punggol beach, but I noticed that the clouds were amazing. Until noon, I didn't have chance to go down to the seaside as the tide is still high. The sunrise would be beautiful but I miss it. However I took about 300 photos with majority of cloud photos. Cloud photography is also fantastic and a great aspect of nature photography. Here is the site of cloud photos and you may want to visit the site here

Kindly pen down some of your comments to make my photos better.

Many thanks.

Seascape Photography

This is one of my seascape photography. Taken in July 2009, Singapore, at east coast.

Singapore offer many beautiful landscape with great architectural site, photographers could create landscape photography, nature photography and Architectural photography.

Especially for those architectural photographers, could photograph the entire views of the exteriors and interiors of domestic, commercial, religious, institutional, and engineering structures.

But, be prepared!!!

You may be questioned while capturing images in Singapore. This is my personal experience while I am playing with my camera at one of the train station. However, I enjoy taking pictures.

And lastly for this post, I would greatly appreciate and warmly welcome any of your comments on my pictures. Thank you. :)
